   I have been a financial controller since August 2012, for the Bank in India and 5 other legal entities. Since Jul 2017, I am also the Head OA for countries which use HUB (40 countries) as a GL, where I am responsible for the teams in India, UAE and Krakow, Poland (team size 275+). From Aug 2012 to Oct 2014, I double hatted as the Finance Chief Operating Officer for India, leading a team of close to 50 staff. Prior to Aug 2012, I was heading the financial accounting and reporting team. I have spent 6 months in Hong Kong in the financial control and finance COO teams. I have spent 3 weeks in Mauritius & Malaysia as CFO as a leave coverHead of OA – Since August 2019 (from Aug 2017 – Jul 2019 Co Head)(responsibilities include)- Functional oversight for accounting and controls, leading a team of 275+ staff, over countries, which use HUB as a GL across HSBC, spread over 3 regions HBAP, MENA and HBEU and 40 countries- OA lead for the Valuation in Resolution (ViR) project, which involves working with other Global Process Owners and Risk Stewards in designing the policies and process to ensure successful implementation- Ensure that control framework within HUB countries are standardised and consistent and in line with FIM- Ensure projects / standards such as IFRS 9, IFRS 16, etc is implemented consistently and correctly amongst all countries.
