Major Accomplishments: • Recognized as a one of the key network engineers and one of the preferred escalation engineer for project implementation and troubleshooting network issues • Successfully upgraded bank’s Internet infrastructure within first 6 months of tenure • Successfully implemented new call center network for the bank comprising of 300 users • Successfully completed a major project to migrate 20 large business centers to MPLS backbone as cost savings initiative • SME for Aruba Wi-Fi network and ClearPass infrastructure Responsibilities: • Functions as level 3 support in maintaining and supporting the bank\'s data network infrastructure consisting of 4 x US data centers, 350+ retail branch locations and 20 regional business centers comprising of more than employees • Responsible for network planning, design, and optimization of the bank\'s network infrastructure • Development of complex network solutions using current and emerging technologies (including wireless and VoIP) • Maintaining and supporting Aruba wireless network infrastructure with more than 1300 WAPs spread throughout bank offices • Primary support engineer for Aruba WiFi infrastructure including Aruba Clearpass Policy Manager • Troubleshoot LAN/WAN/MPLS related network issues including GRE and FlexVPN setup • Works closely with the Project Management group in designing and executing new site build-outs to support the company’s growth objectives • Accountable for ensuring timely problem resolution of reported issues within the agreed SLA • Configure and deploy new Cisco routers and switches (1900, 3650,3850, Cat9400, Nexus 7K/9K) • Configuration and troubleshooting of IP/TCP/UDP and its routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP) and ACLs, route filters, and route-redistribution • Utilize NetScout, Solarwinds, and Cisco Prime network analysis and monitoring tools to identify network related issues • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
