ABOUT NAOMI HESS
I am the editorial manager at the American Association of People with Disabilities, where I write and edit content that uplifts the organization’s important programs that further disability rights. I am also pursuing a Master’s of Science in Media Advocacy at Northeastern University. This program builds on my longtime interest in using written communication to advance advocacy causes. I formerly worked as a Management and Program Analyst at the Administration for Community Living, where I focused on managing grants that support the independence of disabled people and performing communications tasks, like writing reports, blog posts, and speeches.I am a graduate of Princeton University, where I studied Public and International Affairs with certificates in Journalism and Gender & Sexuality Studies. I am interested in public policy, advocacy, and communications. I hope to devote my career to advancing the rights of people with disabilities like myself.
