About Naomi Alam
Hi, my name is Naomi! I have a background in Anthropology and I am applying my degree within Ad-Tech Industry. I believe that my interdisciplinary approach to tech will be revolutionary as we are seeing the new age of digital anthropology and non-technical individuals breaking into the field. I am Bangladeshi-American and a Bronx native. My background has shaped the person I am today and is reflected in the work that I do. The applicable nature of anthropology has been my biggest asset as I maneuver the corporate tech space. As a Digital Marketing alumna and Data Analytics Captain from COOP, I have had in-depth exposure to SEO, SEM, SQL, and Media Planning. Now, I am spearheading my career within the industry as an Ad Ops Specialist at Lonely Planet. Besides career development and outside of work, I really enjoy expressing myself creatively. I enjoy reading, writing, and painting. These creative outlets help me unwind and take time to be in touch with my inner self. A healthy balance of mind and soul allows me to succeed in anything I put my heart and mind to!
