ABOUT NAOMI FRANKEL
In an increasingly warming world, what drives me is the pursuit to continuously create a more sustainable planet while always keeping environmental justice front and center. My passion for environmental sustainability was realized during undergrad where I built wind turbines for a local elementary school. Witnessing the interconnectedness of renewable energy resources, electrical power, and childhood curiosity incited an excitement about what the future of energy consumption could look like. My most recent professional involvement was at a firm whose mission it is to connect more distributed energy resources to the grid, creating virtual power plants to increase grid resiliency while encouraging use of a cleaner and more renewably sourced grid mix.Prior experience included assisting clients to optimize and transform their digital operations while optimizing supply chain and procurement practices. The opportunity to fuse my customer obsession mindset with my excitement on the endless potential of technology led me to the Customer Experience (CX) space where I implemented programs for clients to interact with customers in the name of improving brand and product performance. These experiences proved metamorphic in igniting a love for technology and the power it has to integrate humans from across functions, backgrounds, and locations. You will find me constantly observing how individuals strive to meet their daily needs, investigating disruptive market trends, and ideating on how processes can be made more environmentally sustainable all in service of positively impacting people, organization and society at large.
