ABOUT NAOMI LONG
I am a Development Associate at the Greenwich Historical Society, where I support donor stewardship, membership operations, and fundraising initiatives, including the Society’s $7.5M Capital Campaign. Working closely with Advancement, Finance, Marketing & Communications, and Special Events, I help ensure accurate gift processing, thoughtful donor engagement, and seamless coordination across development activities. My background spans museum development, provenance and art historical research, and cultural publishing. Prior to my current role, I held positions with Tufts University Art Galleries, Thames & Hudson USA, Historic New England, and The Jewish Museum, where I supported collection research, exhibitions, donor engagement, and museum operations. I bring a detail-oriented, service-focused approach to advancement work, with particular strengths in database management, membership programs, event support, and cross-departmental collaboration.I hold an M.A. in Art History and Museum Studies from Tufts University, where my thesis examined collecting, identity, and American art through the formation of the M. and M. Karolik Collection. I am especially interested in museum advancement roles that sit at the intersection of fundraising, research, and public engagement, and I am eager to continue building a career within cultural institutions.
