ABOUT NAOMI LEVARI

I’m a German-American-Israeli producer and development executive based in Berlin, working across international film and television.I co-founded Black Sheep Film Productions in 2010, where I developed and produced character-driven projects with a strong focus on socially relevant themes. The company’s work has premiered at leading festivals including Cannes, Berlinale, Venice, Toronto, and Series Mania, and received over 100 international awards, including two Television Academy Awards for Best Series.In 2018, I co-founded Electric Sheep GmbH in Berlin, expanding my work into international co-productions across features, high-end TV, and creative documentaries. Its debut project was awarded the Producers Award at the Hamburg Film Festival. My work is rooted in story and long-term creative collaboration. I tend to work closely with creators, listening carefully to what is said—and what isn’t—while helping shape the project through precise, detail-driven development. I’m particularly drawn to character-driven work, and to shaping characters whose inner lives and contradictions give the audio-visual journey emotional weight. Alongside producing, I work as a script editor and consultant, collaborating with international labs and institutions such as Berlinale Talents Script Station, Canal+ Poland, First Cut Lab, Serial Eyes, Berlinale Co-Production Market, Full Circle Lab Philippines, Lodz Film School, and Tatino Films & Netflix Grow Creative.
