   Interview in person or by phone to verify eligibility for the LIHEAP Energy Assistance Program for low-income households through DSHS Income verification (SNAP, TANF, GAU), Social Security Administration benefit letter (SSA, SSDI, SSI), unemployment benefits (ESD), and Subsidized housing (Section 8, HUD)- Outreach to vulnerable populations before the season starts and pre-screen the application to process as priority clients- Determine benefits (Energy Pledge) based on all the information - IVR to manage appointments and customer applications through the CMS database.
