ABOUT NANDU SASIDHARAN
Assistant Professor in Economics at Azim Premji University, Bengaluru. Completed a PhD in Economics at the Tuscany Universities PhD programme at the University of Florence, Pisa, and Siena, and was a former visiting research fellow at the University of Groningen working on the themes of public debt, structural transformation, dual economies, macrodynamics, heterogeneous agents, and fiscal policy. Prior to that, I completed a Master of Arts in Economics from the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning (CESP), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, and then worked as an Academic Associate in the Economics Area at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode. Areas of interest include development macroeconomics, public finance, and economic dynamics. I am the co-founder of Economiga, a platform for economic aspirants in India. Currently serving the role of coordinator at the Inequality Working Group of the Young Scholars Initiative (YSI).
