The Banking Corporate Deposit (BCD) product is a comprehensive solution for managing corporate deposits, enabling banks to offer a wide range of deposit products like fixed deposits and recurring deposits tailored to corporate clients. It is part of the Banking suite of products, which aims to provide banks with integrated, scalable, and efficient solutions for managing various aspects of banking operations. The solution supports multi-currency, multi-branch functionality and automates various processes such as interest calculation, maturity management, and deposit lifecycle management.Responsibilities:Successfully migrated the legacy Banking Corporate Deposit product (BCD) from PL/SQL to Spring Boot micro-services architecture from scratch. Developed CI-CD-CT pipeline using Jenkins for DEV and UAT environment that carried out Automation testing, Code quality and code coverage evaluations. Ensured code quality and reliability through effective testing and analysis tools using JUnit and Sonarqube. Architected and developed 5 main Business flows of deposits. Designed and implemented dynamic, responsive and user-friendly interfaces using Angular 9. Designed and executed integration tests using Postman to validate the functionality of RESTful APIs and ensure end-to-end data flow between services. Collaborated with devops teams to create and maintain Kubernetes clusters on cloud platforms such as AWS. Automated the deployment of application to Kubernetes using the delivery tool ArgoCD. Resolved API downtime issues by analyzing server logs and error codes to identify root causes and fixing them.
