   In Financial Controllership, my key role has been to ensure accurate delivery of assignments related to acquiring business of Barclaycard at every closing cycle to the stakeholders, such as - Preparation of journals and account level reconciliations as a part of substantiating the overall balance sheet, trial balance analysis, preparation of business schedules like accruals/ prepayments, risk events and margin analysis thereof. Bringing efficiencies to work by consolidating/ automating journals and reconciliations- Preparation of Monthly Control Packs, embedding schedules and variance commentaries, presenting it to the stakeholders in accordance with Barclays Finance Governance and Controls- Managing business provisions by ensuring qualitative and quantitative checks while recording it in the ledgers and delivering updates to the Finance Directors- Worked with various business stakeholders to ensure legal entities are accurately, timely & completely accounted for in the systems (SAP) and timely delivery of reports to the stakeholders- Finalizing accounting treatment as per IFRS for new and amended products launched by bank in collaboration with multiple on-shore teams. Ensuring end to end business controls on operational process flow- Ensuring checks and controls over the underlying processes in place- Supporting different audits and handling the queries in timely and effective manner- Supporting and delivering new projects through setting up entire financial reporting framework, implementation of Alteryx and SOX controls.
