ABOUT NANDINI SHAH

Better Than Yesterday\" is the motto that fuels my dedication to continuous improvement, both professionally in software engineering and personally in cultivating strong leadership and communication skills.Hi! My name is Nandini Shah and I am a recent Computer Science graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park.I have experience in over eight front-end and back-end languages, including Python, Kotlin, Java, C, Ruby, OCaml, Rust, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and MIPS Assembly, with a strong focus on Python, Java, and C to solve complex tech problems. Currently, I am participating in Break Through Tech\'s AI/ML Program, working on projects that apply Machine Learning frameworks to address AI challenges. Additionally, I have hands-on experience in embedded software, utilizing Trace32 and Wireshark for debugging.Beyond my technical skills, I have been fortunate to develop my leadership and communication abilities through various roles, such as an Outreach Organizer for Technica, Co-President of the Association for Women in Computing at UMD, Peer Advisor for the CS department, and a TA for the course Programming Handheld Systems. I am passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion in the tech field. Attending the Grace Hopper Conference has provided me with invaluable insights and inspiration on how to foster these values. I have actively brought these lessons back to my school and communities, and worked to implement the initiatives and practices I\'ve learned to create a more inclusive environment.
