About Nan Ding

I\'m a qualitative researcher with over 10 years of research experience and strong academic background in multiple disciplines including Human-Computer Interaction, Learning Sciences and Computer Science. I worked on various research topics regarding consumer products (Windows 10, Xbox, etc.), AI machine learning and cloud service solutions (Azure Data Platform, AI Data Collection teams, an internal AI data analysis tools, etc.), Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality hardware and apps (Oculus, HoloLens, Minecraft Earth), solutions and apps for people with disabilities (facial recognition solutions for people with disability, 3D virtual environments for Autistic children, etc.) and training and educational platforms (K-12 teacher’s training, Mizzou K-12 online education platform, etc.). I worked with users with various characteristics, including children and their parents, users with disabilities and special needs, international users, etc. I\'ve always been working on multi-disciplinary teams and enjoying collaborating with other researchers, PMs, designers, engineers, and other domain experts.
