Build supportive, nurturing relationships with young people in care through role modeling.Facilitate the provision of a safe and positive home environment for young people in residential care. Through the therapeutic didactic approaches such as PACE, THRIVE and TPG we work with young people in our care to help them manage their behaviour.Safeguarding children through managing care plans and risk assessments of each individual young person in our residential open home.Utilise a child centred approach to supporting young people with challenging and risk taking behaviours manage their everyday care, education, mental and physical health through a holistic encompassing visible care.Confidentially document the lives of the young people in our care in daily residential notes managed and uploaded onto Liquid Logic, write incident and safeguarding reports as per our safeguarding processes and statutory requirements Manage and administer medication to the young people as per their care plans and the advice of medical professionals.Lead Shifts of staff team of three or more staff, planning for the care of the young people in the residential settingLiaise with social workers, GP\'s, CAMHS, other professionals and families in relation to the needs of the young people in our care as per statutory requirements and individual care plans.Report all accidents, damage to property and equipment to management or relevant departments as per policy
