Local Buying To develop and prepare the procurement policy based on the global procurement guideline and take steps to educate the employee the procurement policy / procedure through regular trainings Negotiate long-term contracts to ensure optimum cost and reliable supply Negotiate with Suppliers for Cost efficiency based on Should Cost Model Negotiate with the supplier on the payment terms Managing Purchase orders executions and ensure timely release of POs to suppliers based on MRP execution • Executions of MRP output - Expediting, Push out, Cancellation & Past due process • Expediting with suppliers and Flex partners on critical material shortages and Ensure 100% parts availability to support on time production, Follow up with shipments and ensure on time delivery of materials from domestic and international suppliers. • Selling excess Inventory stock to other vendors, distributors and other Contract manufacturers. • Initiating RMA (Return Material)Scrap process if materials • Interacting with Material & SCM team to setup the Supplier master data in system if any changes occurs and also new vendors system setup • Responsibilities on clearing Warehouse, Quality and Account Payable/Finance related issues.
