As part of the product engineering system safety team member, I am responsible for the following activities* Establish and support vehicle level safety strategy to align technology roadmap to the product roadmap which will define and deliver the required assurance level for each of the product milestones.* Support safety case with the help of evidences and arguments to meet the safety assurance levels* Work closely with the safety regulatory and product management teams to identify the applicable regulations for the autonomous driving and derive safety product requirements to align the product development.* Perform vehicle level HAZOP analysis to identify the vehicle level functions, failure modes and associated hazards* Create safety scenario catalog to identify and define safety relevant vehicle level scenarios for the autonomous driving.* Perform vehicle level HARA to analyze the exposure, severity and controllability to derive safety assurance level(ASIL) and safety goals* Establish and perform vehicle level simulation and work with vehicle level test team to derive vehicle level FTTI for the safety goals.* Support vehicle level SOTIF analysis to analyze the trigger conditions, ODD conditions, control factors to identify functional limitations and derive SOTIF goals based on HIRE analysis ( Hazard Identification and Risk Estimation).* Work closely with the product management team to perform safety analysis ( FMEA, FTA) and define vehicle level FSC( Functional Safety Concept).* Work closely with the product engineering team to perform safety analysis ( FMEA, FTA, DFA) and define sensing and autonomous driving ( planning and control) TSC (Technical Safety Concept).* Work closely with software and hardware team to implement safety mechanism and perform safety analysis (FMEA, FTA, DFA) at software and hardware level.
