I’m Nandani Gupta, a Computer Science (Data Science) student and a tech content creator with hands-on experience in open-source collaboration, community building, and mentoring beginners in their tech journeys.I’m actively learning Python and strengthening my problem-solving mindset through real contributions rather than just coursework. Over time, I’ve contributed to multiple open-source programs including 2× Google Summer of Code (GSSoC), SSOC, SWoC, OSCI, and OSCG, where I worked on improving projects, collaborating with maintainers, and understanding real-world development workflows.Beyond contributing, I’ve also served as a mentor in programs such as CodeSocial, SWoC, and Elite Coders, helping first-time contributors make their first successful pull requests, guiding them through Git/GitHub, and supporting project admins in reviewing and merging contributions.I’ve taken up campus ambassador and representative roles with communities and programs including GirlScript Summer of Code (GSSoC), Let’s Upgrade, Internshala, and ECWoC, where I focused on outreach, community engagement, and promoting open-source culture among students.Alongside this, I create tech and finance-focused content on my platform KashuDebugs, where I document my learning journey, simplify concepts for beginners, and contribute to awareness around technology and open source.Currently, my core interests lie in:Python development and problem solvingOpen-source contribution and mentorshipCommunity development and tech outreachContent creation in tech and financeI’m actively looking for internships and collaborative opportunities where I can apply my skills, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute meaningfully to impactful projects.Let’s connect and build together.
