Plan, design, and conduct vehicle safety tests, including prototype tests, durability tests, and other safety assessments- Ensure all testing is performed in accordance with industry standards, regulations, and JLR’s internal protocols- Coordinate with engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of safety tests- Prepare detailed test plans, schedules, and reports, maintaining clear communication with all involved parties with the using of project management tools such Smartsheets and JIRA- Manage test equipment and facilities, ensuring they are maintained and calibrated appropriately to comply with ISO17025 standards. Helped in internal and external audits. Utilize advanced data analysis tools NI Diadem and methodologies to interpret test results and generate actionable insights- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on test findings, planning recommendations for testing requirements- Document all testing procedures, results, and corrective actions in a clear and organized manner- Assisted in documentation of installation, commission and calibration of new Seat Belt Anchorage and Roof Crush test rigs which helped the team publish JLR ways documents- Part of the energy team of our building to find appropriate approaches to cut energy use and ultimately bring down the running cost of our test facility building.
