Throughout my career, I have gravitated toward undertakings that allow me to design, create and build teams, infrastructure, programming, relationships and resources to provide adult learners with meaningful developmental and learning opportunities. The theme of my over 17 years as a career development practitioner, L&D professional and leadership experience is my keen interest in developing and facilitating the growth of others by tapping into how best to amplify their learning by assessing their needs and helping them in their becoming process. Therefore, as a learning and development and career services professional, I enjoy assisting individuals in advancing and leveraging their skills, knowledge and talents to fulfill their professional and career-related goals. I use appropriate adult learning theories, logic models, and learning and development design concepts to produce solutions that engage the learner to meet their developmental goals. By creating meaningful learning experiences, I have improved morale and increased efficiency at the organizational level and individually for learners.My decision-making, leadership, communication, organizational, interpersonal, group facilitation, training, learning and development, and relationship-building competencies have enabled me to work effectively with a diverse population. I have supported and collaborated with learners, students, alumni, staff, faculty, senior administration, industry and community partners to foster inclusive and effective learning interventions and strategies to advance organizational and individual growth and development.
