About Nancy Standifer

I believe that sharing stories inspires engagement and change within an organization. I create impactful storytelling by listening and collaborating. I am a highly flexible, detailed-oriented communications professional with the ability to confidently manage plans and people with a high level of engagement and leadership. My background also includes project management, editorial and publication management, website content, blogs and social media with a strong emphasis on internal communications and employee engagement. Collaboration is king and I have extensive experience interacting effectively with both internal and external groups and I pride myself on successfully working with a wide variety of groups and individuals spanning age and title. I enjoy being part of a team environment and always look for opportunities to build partnerships and consensus inside and outside an organization. My varied experience has sharpened my ability to problem solve, actively listen, create clear communications while also identifying risks in planning. I enjoy combining information technology with communications/journalism expertise to create stories - including the translation of complex topics - that foster engagement. My communications planning and internal marketing techniques include long-term integration of messaging across an organization to build on new initiatives; sharing employee stories. I believe the key to long-term strategic success is celebrating and nurturing employee ambassadors.

   Writing and editing newsletter content, blog posts, social media, and intranet content. Website platform migration as main point of content with vendors and developing launch plan. Mastering Engagement HQ to stand up public facing project site. Developed 8-week launch plan and work with project leads to create and implement content on the site. Creating/documenting processes for communications team to ensure consistent communications through daily editorial calendar management.
