ABOUT NANCY SAMMON
I am proud to work at Smith School of Business, Queen\'s University which is known as one of the world\'s premier business schools. Smith houses Canada’s most prestigious undergraduate and master’s business program as well as one of the world\'s largest and most respected providers of executive education. In my new role, I am responsible for the development of recruitment strategies to target new business partnerships for the purpose of improving talent acquisition success of our graduate level students, and mid to senior level professionals. This includes the design, oversight, and evaluation of all specialized masters level recruiting activities throughout the year, including networking activities. I am also responsible for collaborating with employers to understand their talent acquisition needs and promote the value proposition of our students. Given the students’ aspirations to make a career pivot post-graduation, this position is integral to Smith students’ job acquisition and successfully making career transitions as they navigate competitive business sectors. I am a CACEE (Canadian Association of Career Educators and Employers) life member whose passion is to support students on their school to work transition.
