   Finances to field help on family farm growing organic produce and delivering to top-rated restaurants and co-op in the St. Louis market. Host field trips to educate students and adults about the values, benefits, and methods of organic farming- Collaborated on design and construction of earth-sheltered residence, using salvaged and re-purposed materials. Project included a solar array and a green roof.(20••••12)- Awarded Jefferson County Farm Family of the Year for 2015, in recognition of achievements in agriculture - presented by University Extension- Attended the St. Louis Disruption Symposium 2015, hosted by North Highland.* When we named the farm, both \"Bellews\" and \"Belews\" were in common usage locally. We chose to use the two Ls version. Now the single L version is more widely used, as in the Belews Creek Watershed Partnership, below.
