About Nancy C. Cleary
A graphic designer by trade, in 1998 Nancy C. Cleary landed in the publishing world where, against all odds, she built an award-winning independent press in rural Oregon and has become known internationally for the special care she gives her authors.\"Become truly the best at it. and relentlessly and generously give it all away as a way of leading and making a ruckus.\" —Seth Godin, on publishing Cleary grew up in Massachusetts with a passion for art — studying visual communications at deCordova, Parsons, and Rhode Island School of Design during high school, and earning a BFA in Graphic Design from RISD in 1990. She did a stint as Art Director for Robert Allen\'s Real Estate Company in San Diego, followed by a year with MultiMedia Professionals in Carlsbad whose client Anthony Robbins had her walking across hot coals in Maui. Then she followed her heart to Oregon where she launched a graphic design studio in 1992, and a publishing company in 1998 named after her children Wyatt and MacKenzie.~ SPECIALTIES ~ • Publishing * Self-Publishing Consulting * Book Marketing & Publicity Consulting * Book Design * Author Branding
