I am a bilingual finance professional with 15+ years of experience, including several years as a Credit Underwriter, mainly at Export Development Canada. My expertise spans credit analysis, risk assessment, and structuring tailored lending solutions in highly complex international trade environments. I have led cross-functional teams and mentored junior analysts to improve risk frameworks and decision-making. Because underwriting is fundamentally about assessing and managing risk, my skills are transferable across industries—from corporate and commercial lending to mortgage, insurance, and trade finance. I combine deep financial fluency with adaptability, advanced technical and a proven ability to quickly master new processes, technologies, and risk frameworks. I also collaborated with MoneyGram as a product manager. With global experience, I moved to Canada where I held various roles in customer service, operations, mutual funds, insurance, risk analysis, and credit underwriting. At EDC, I apply financial analysis and market intelligence to help Canadian exporters compete globally. I am involved with women-led ventures, Coralus, and Immigrant Women in Business (IWB). My creative side enjoys staying informed about global affairs and business news, reading (I’ve read more than books), and entertainment.
