My practice focuses on real estate development and community associations, including (1) working with builders and developers to create community associations and (2) working with existing community associations to address ongoing issues (collections, maintenance, amendment of governing documents, etc.). I help homeowners associations when they have issues involving homeowners (perhaps, for example, those who aren\'t following the rules) or issues with vendors - or when the association simply wants to operate more effectively and efficiently. I also use that experience to help developers craft governing documents for new communities that work for the associations long-term.Clients choose Hellmuth & Johnson when they have a legal issue or a deal to get done and want a strong team of nimble, proactive lawyers working on their side to get results.
