Provide guidance and clarity to ensure alignment with County approach, practices, and processes when responding to questions received from all employees on ER matters including performance improvement, Leave, ADA, prohibited conduct complaints, unemployment, mediation, and grievances.\\\\n-Provide interpretation, guidance, and make sure compliance of County policies and procedures as well as general statutes, state, and federal laws.\\\\n-Manage all unemployment insurance claims.\\\\n-Participate as employer representation in unemployment insurance hearings and guide supervisors/managers in the hearings.\\\\n-Contribute to the review and development of HR policies and procedures including recommending new approaches to maintain efficient and effective services.\\\\n-Demonstrate the ability to navigate successfully within ambiguity, multiple priorities in a rapidly changing, high volume, fast-paced environment.\\\\n-Develop and provide training to all levels of employees within Wake County Government on all ER topics.\\\\n-Assist in analyzing and gathering key ER and employee data to identify trends and opportunities for organizational improvement.\\\\n-Serve as ER project lead on HRM Systems committee and identify key ER data systems to enhance and expand.\\\\n-Assist in the development and design of the Employee Relations website.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
