I collect necessary documents from borrowers and act as a go-between for the origination staff, underwriters, and customers.I gather detailed information from borrowers, such as pay stubs, tax returns, W2s, and bank statements. I provide borrowers with a list of needed documents and complete their applications. I analyze credit reports and financial situations to recommend the best loan products. I submit complete loan packages for processing and make sure everything is in order before moving forward.I lock in loan rates, review closing documents to ensure fees and cash at closing match our commitments, and issue lender credits if needed. I solve problems that arise during the loan process and keep everyone informed.
