The President/CEO is responsible for the overall operations of the Marin Humane Society (MHS); is the senior manager and has the primary management responsibility for all MHS departments, operations and personnel functions. The President/CEO works closely with senior management as well as the board of directors to ensure financial sustainability, negotiate animal services contract with the County and JPA and promote the organization (and its mission, vision and values) in the community of Marin and beyond. Participates in advocacy efforts and establishing the strategic planning goals and objectives. Additional authority and duties are also set forth in the MHS Bylaws.
