Epidemiological insights and methods help drug development move forward. I am experienced in applying epidemiology and managing successful teams of epidemiologists in settings of biotech, pharmaceutical, contract research organization and academia, across a broad range of therapeutic areas by- Guiding strategy for efficient decision-making within and across functions and teams - Directing collaborations with researchers for different stakeholders including clinical, medical, regulatory and payer/reimbursement agencies- Leading the design, analysis and interpretation of research using population-based cohorts, patient registries, health insurance claims databases, electronic medical record databases, and post-marketing (Phase IV) studies- Providing epidemiological insights for safety signal detection in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries-I have been awarded grants as PI of epidemiological and multi-site clinical trial research funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH)-Over 60 publications in peer-reviewed journals-Over 70 presentations at scientific or medical conference meetings-Wide and deep range of therapeutic areas of experience: Alzheimer\'s disease, Parkinson\'s disease, urology, urogynecology, hemophilia, thalassemia, sickle cell disease, oral and dental public health, environmental health, female sexual dysfunction, women\'s health and aging, nutritional epidemiology of chronic disease, lifestyle behaviors and chronic disease, and child development.
