About Nancy Mallette
Highly experienced special event Production Manager. Possesses creative background in management of artistic visionaries, multi budget coordination and strategic planning on a world-class scale. Strong communication, leadership and health and safety track record. Nancy Mallette is currently Senior Director of Exhibition Engineering for Meow Wolf. Prior to that she was the Senior Manager, Occupational Health and Safety with the Las Vegas Division of Cirque du Soleil. Prior to occupying that role, she was the Senior Operations Production Manager for Cirque du Soleil (18 years with Cirque du Soleil) and was responsible for the technical operations of \"Zumanity\" in Las Vegas. In 2006 she was asked to take on a very unique role; that of Director of Production for the creation, design and development phase of \"Criss Angel’s Believe\". From 1996 to 2002 Ms. Mallette was the Operations Production Manager for \"Mystère\" at Treasure Island. Prior to coming to the United States, Ms. Mallette spent close to ten years at the highly acclaimed National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Canada in various managerial roles including Technical Director, Production Manager and finally Director of Production. While at the National Arts Center she provided Production and Technical management support for international festivals in music, dance, orchestras, operas and world class special events, such as the United Nations 50th anniversary launch ceremonies simulcast around the world. Ms. Mallette wrote the book on Production Management at Cirque du Soleil entitled “Production Management at Cirque du Soleil” based on 18 years of SOP development detailing stage safety precautions, hiring, milestone development, theatre construction coordination, financial procedures and special event management processes. In 2014 she was a mentor for Cirque du Soleil\'s Ascension program providing coaching for future managers. For two years, she volunteered as the Chair of the Auction Committee for \"One Night for One Drop\" bringing sustainable clean drinking water to impoverished areas of the world.

Architect of the COVID-19 Relaunch Program for worldwide Cirque du Soleil. Creator / Facilitator of Active Shooter Program. Created Management Leadership Training. Responsible to ensure health and safety compliance of 14 Cirque du Soleil productions across the US, Mexico and China. Responsible for all contact with OSHA including injuries, letters of notification, complaints and investigations. Creation and management of health and safety policies and written programs such as: Hazard Communications, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety, Risk Management Program, Job Hazard Analysis, Written Workplace Safety Program, PPE standards, Accident Reporting, Near Miss reporting, development of a safety culture and the establishment of a training program based on advanced and intensive hazard assessments.
