Additionally, I have led teams up to 40 people and pride myself on my ability to coach, develop and mentor people at all levels.I am proud of the achievements and highlights of my career. One of my notable accomplishments was leading the internal audit and controls group for a $6B leading provider of building products. I successfully re-engineered and created the internal audit department, exceeding the expectations of the audit committee and executive management. Additionally, I harmonized and reduced controls by approximately 50% and implemented a new SOX audit tool.Beyond my professional accomplishments, I am actively involved in professional associations. I have spoken at various industry conferences and authored thought leadership pieces on topics such as ESG and audit leadership.
