Global trade has always fascinated me-My journey into Global Trade Compliance began with a curiosity for how businesses move goods across borders while navigating complex regulations. That fascination led me to pursue a Post Graduate degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management at LIBA and eventually build my career in Global Trade Compliance.At present, I work as a Global Trade Compliance Specialist at Allyn International, where I focus on-Handling HTS classification, ECCN determination, and OGA requirement checks-Preparing and reviewing customs documents to avoid clearance delays-Working with brokers, logistics partners, and regulators for smooth trade operations-Supporting audits and improving processes to strengthen complianceIn addition, I am a Certified Customs Specialist (NCBFAA), enhancing my expertise in customs laws, tariff classification, and international trade documentation.What excites me most about this field is the balance between detail and impact, where accuracy in compliance directly enables global business growth.
