Nancy Harter is unquestionably one of Atlanta’s most successful businesswomen. At the helm of United Maintenance, a leading commercial and industrial Mechanical Contracting company specializing in HVAC, Nancy is no stranger to hard work, commitment and perseverance.The road to the Chief Executive Officer of United Maintenance was not easy. Nancy did what it took - working nonstop through school to learn the business. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia, which shaped her to be the respected leader she is today. After graduation, Nancy set her sights on the dedication needed to eventually take over United Maintenance. She purchased the company in 2017 from her stepfather who started United Maintenance in 1974.Currently, Nancy has direct responsibility for 86 Full Time employees. Her focus as the company CEO is to inspire her team to work hard and enjoy what that brings. Through her vision of growing United Maintenance, Nancy formed United Boiler and United Building Automation. Both emerging companies serve separate sectors of the industry. Today, Nancy and her team continue to work tirelessly - building all brands on the shoulders of United Maintenance.
