This intensive journalism entrepreneurship program helps news leaders strengthen media projects in their communities. Austin Vida was selected as one of 24 media projects out of more than 250 applicants across the U.S. and Canada.*Austin Vida was also accepted into the Tiny News Collective, an initiative helping launch independent newsrooms across the country. Nancy was among six media publishers selected in this highly competitive national grant program.*Selected as Maynard Journalism Institute Media Entrepreneur Fellow. Maynard has been driving diversity in journalism for more than 40 years and it\'s highly-sought after fellowship program trains and elevates journalists of color.
