Direct and manage the leukemia and lymphoma working groups at Winship Cancer Institute• Assess team performance and ensure compliance among staff• Supervise staff to include performance management and development, recruitment and on boarding• Work with clinical research leadership to ensure alignment between team needs and department infrastructure to facilitate strategic planning• Support PIs and staff to ensure GCP and Institutional compliance for all study protocols• Ensure CRCs are adhering to GCP including confirmation of subject eligibility, proper informed consent process and documentation, and protocol adherence• Perform quality oversight to include monitoring progress of screening, enrollment and data submission. Data submission activities have been a priority-driven project since July 2025. Initiated bringing in our Data Coordinator and key sponsor personnel to develop plans to bring data delinquencies up to date• Identify barriers to timely study activation, efficient coordination, also identify and implement potential solutions• Contribute to the development of study-level corrective action plans and subsequent implementation• Actively participate in meetings, task forces and committees as assigned.

ABOUT NANCY FLOCKHART
I\'m a highly creative and resourceful clinical research professional with over 25 years of varied clinical research experience. I have worked in regulatory and then have had the opportunity to work with pharmaceutical, device and genomic clinical trials. Being someone who has needed to adapt quickly to new environments and positions, I have now used that professional background experience to my advantage in being able to quickly adapt not only for myself but also to help others with quick changes. I have mentored those just starting out in this field and have enjoyed using my past experiences for their benefit. I\'ve been very fortunate to have worked in wonderful diagnostic specialties such as oncology, cardiology, genomics, and neurology during my career in both pharmaceutical and device trials. Because of my career history and ability to adapt, I have been asked to lead teams and was chosen to work on multiple investigator-initiated clinical trials. I have worked as a CCRC with the IITs and I have more recently helped co-PIs create their trials from the ground up. Creating and working on original research gives you a new and better understanding of the process and creates in you someone who can truly see the big picture and consider everything required. Working on studies from study start-up to close-out at the site level along with project management on a couple of different levels has made me a very well-rounded clinical research professional with a treasure chest of experience and professional ideas. I have been that \'go to\' person on a team for many years and I continue striving to add to my personal knowledge to share in a team atmosphere.
