Member of the first Internal Communications Office for the agency, EPA. Responsibilities include:* Manage an internal communications community of practice group including coordinating group meetings.*Identify, develop, communicate, and disseminate key messages on a wide variety of topics to employees using products such as senior leadership messages, mass mailers, newsletter articles, intranet posts, web banners, calendar items, and headquarters bulletin posts.* Coordinate with headquarters and regional offices to implement internal communications and outreach strategies around internal and external agency program information that is relevant and interesting to the EPA workforce.*Share agency priorities from senior leaders to employees. Messages range from topics such as the Lean Management System (LMS) to the Superfund Task Force to Feds Feed Families to the annual Combined Federal Campaign.*Communicate and implement recommendations and decisions to senior management on internal communications messaging.*Oversaw the redesigned EPA Express, the headquarters bulletin used to advertise news to the headquarters audience. Now serve as back-up for adding content via HTLM coding.*Edit written communications materials for the internal audience and format them for the specific delivery channel.Accomplishments:1. Launched the first EPA internal Communications Community of Practice in April 2016. Have coordinated and facilitated 20 meetings since the launch.2. Received Superior Achievement awards in 2017, 2018 & 2019.3. Received an Outstanding rating on my last review in October 2018.
