The Conrad Foundation hosts the Conrad Challenge. This Challenge provides an opportunity for teams of students to create commercially viable products or services to address issues of global sustainability for the benefit of humanity. This annual competition is available to students, ages 13-18, from around the world. The Conrad Challenge offers teachers, parents and after school coordinators a relevant and dynamic way to teach science, technology, engineering and math. The Conrad Foundation has collaborated with the US Department of State, NIH, NASA and industry leaders LMCO, PepsiCO, Battelle and Mondalez to bring the most prestigious award in science, technology, engineering and math to teams of high school students from around the globe. Winners receive awards and the opportunity to commercialize their product ideas. Teachers may receive the Teacher of the Year Award, a trophy designed by Eric Lindburgh, the grandson of Charles Lindburgh, resides in the Teacher of the Year\'s school for one year.
