As a part of the Educational Recovery staff at the Kentucky Department of Education, I guide school leaders and teams in creating systems and structures to address their identified deficits. I also ensure curriculum is systematically aligned/revised to state and local standards through a continuous improvement process involving professional learning community structures. Additionally, I work with staff to ensure the creation of a system of school-wide and classroom assessments that are rigorous and authentic are utilized to inform and improve instruction to meet the needs of all students. Much of my work consists of providing relevant embedded professional development for both administrators and teachers as we identify growth that will enhance instruction resulting in student success. Student success is at the core of what I do.
