I\'m a University Teacher, Researcher, Strategic Media Affairs and Communications professional with over 30 years\' experience and a track record of success in managing Public Relations, Electronic, Print, Social Media, Advertising, Development Journalism, and Governmental/Diaspora Affairs. I have an experience in research, training, capacity building and development, community engagements, and publications, media ethics, and administration. I have also taught students of Journalism and Media Studies in the University of Chester and University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. The feedback from students and the Module Leader were positive in terms of students\' interactions, knowledge imparted and contribution to the overall lesson plans. My teaching has impacted students\' interaction, and their understanding of the media\'s ability to address the complexity of public communications. I completed my Doctoral Programme in Media Studies in 2020 at the University of Chester, United Kingdom. I have gained in-depth understanding of public relations, government affairs, and global communications. My thesis focused on African Media Development, Gender Studies, Development Journalism, Journalism and Foreign Aid in Africa, Women Journalism and Development, and Peace and Conflict Journalism. My last posting as a Civil Servant was at the Borno State Liaison Services, Abuja, Nigeria where I served as the Director of Liaison Services with core liaison services in Abuja, Kaduna, Kano, and Lagos states. As the head of the Liaison Services, I have coordinated strategic projects; liaised and effectively collaborated with Heads of ministries and parastatals on behalf of my government. I was also the Borno State Focal Point Officer on Diaspora Affairs where I represented government in programs organized by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) and liaised with Borno state indigenes in the diaspora to contribute their quota to develop Borno State. My experience in Journalism at the Borno Radio Television Corporation (BRTV) for many years demonstrates my ability to interface effectively with corporate bodies, government officials, media representatives, and key global decision-makers. I am a recipient of the Intercontinental Scholarship Award of the International Association of Media and Communication Researchers (IAMCR)(2019) in Madrid, Spain. I equally received the Emerging Scholars Award (2017) for Excellent Scholarship and the promise of significant future achievement by the 2nd Communication and Media Studies Conference held in Vancouver, Canada.
