My science-based leadership serves research communities to enable discovery and share the results with the public. I am currently on sabbatical, having been Deputy Director of Space Telescope Science Institute, which conducts the science program and operations of key missions in NASA\'s flagship astrophysics suite, with data archives that increase reach and accessibility. Previously, as Deputy Director and Head of Science at Gemini Observatory, I delivered innovative telescopes, instruments, and observing modes to an international community.
