Hello,I am Nana, a Construction Management student at Kent State University, anticipating graduation in 2026. Concurrently, I serve in the US Army National Guard for Ohio. My professional background includes extensive experience in leadership, service, and management roles.As a Construction Management student specializing in safety, I focus on ensuring the well-being of personnel and the integrity of construction projects. My dedication to safety stems from a profound understanding of its importance in mitigating risks and promoting accountability within the construction industry.My enthusiasm for advancing within the construction sector is fueled by several reasons. The dynamic nature of the industry presents endless opportunities for growth and innovation, driving my curiosity to stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices. My competitive spirit is showcased through participation in the U.C. Builders Custom Home Builders Competition (Fall 2022-Spring 2023) and the O.C.A. Estimating Competition (Fall 2023-Spring 2024), applying my skills in real-world scenarios and striving for excellence in construction management practices.
