About Namratha Sathish
Hello! I graduated from the University of Michigan\'s College of Engineering in 2015 with a B.S.E in Industrial and Operations Engineering.During the Summer of 2015, I worked at Microsoft as a Supply Chain Intern on the Reverse Logistics Team. I returned to the Fulfillment and Logistics team as a Fulfillment and Operations Manager in early 2016. Since then, I have managed Distribution Center Operations; Product Quality Issues; On Time Delivery Metrics and Analysis; and projects on Freight Payment transitions and new factory capabilities.Prior to graduating, I held the role of President of the Indian American Student Association, the second largest student organization on campus, which puts on events drawing crowds of over 3,500 people. I was also the Director of Michigan Mazaa as well. Michigan Mazaa organizes various events, including a nationally recognized Bollywood Fusion Competition that raises funds and awareness to combat the social injustice of human trafficking.During Summer of 2014, I worked as an Industrial and Operations Engineering Intern at Venus Group, Inc. in Foothill Ranch, California. I performed Time and Motion Studies on the textile manufacturing process to increase the efficiency of production as well as assisted the company in incorporating RFID technology into their inventory management tasks.
