About Namrata Dhanak
Design Leader with experience managing large design teams. Certified Service Designer (IDEO U) and Certified Usability Analyst (HFI). I have been practicing design for over 20 years and work in the areas of Design Strategy, Service Design, UX Research and Design Thinking. In my current role as UX Strategist at Infrablok, I work as an Individual Contributor, building the User Experience for a healthcare start-up named Kalibra. In the past, I have worked with start-ups and MNCs, product companies as well as service-based organisations. Besides running my own design start-up for over 10 years, I have led design studios for 2 organisations: Accenture and Think Design. Managing studio growth and participating in pre-sales has helped me understand the business of design. Mentoring creative talent has made me a compassionate leader. Some of my recent projects include- Currently leading UX Strategy for Kalibra, a healthcare platform for personalised health. As team of one, I conduct UX research and design detailed User Flows and Interaction Design across the consumer and pro apps- Led a Service Design project for the recruitment journey at a large corporate. Managed a research team facilitating User Interviews and Focus Group Discussions pan India, facilitated remote Design Thinking workshops, created Journey Maps and Service Design blueprints- India lead for UX Strategy and Design to digitalise the insurance journey for Generali. The project spanned across 2 responsive mobile apps with over 35 user flows and more than 300 screens. I led a team of 4 and executed it using an Agile Design Sprints approach with biweekly sprints- Headed a team of 70+ UX Designers for a large suite of products at Accenture. Managed transition to a new Design System spanning multiple websites and over 40 products- Facilitated UX Research as part of a global Customer Experience Transformation project for a leading Middle Eastern airline.
