Why are we the way we are?” is a question that always plagued my mind. It’s not a question I should have been thinking about. As a Biotechnologist I was supposed to master the art of plating, correctly identify curiously shaped micro-organisms under a microscope and dream about inventing the next new vaccine. Yet, I had a yearning to understand myself and those around me better. I explored entirely unrelated fields of Hypnotherapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), and in doing so, discovered the best kind of Pandora’s box- How the subconscious plays a powerful role in helping us create shifts from our narrow trauma-inflicted wells to a world of infinite possibilities. With over a decade of experience as a Hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner specializing in one-on-one as well as group workshops, I can confidently say that we no longer have to be the way we are. We can always choose re-make ourselves. A 2.0 version of ourselves- better, productive, free from the bonds of trauma and emotional wounds. The subconscious mind is estimated to govern 90% of our emotions and experiences. Imagine the compelling shifts we can create using the subconscious to our advantage. My areas of specialty include mental health disorders (anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress management), emotional and sexual abuse, trauma healing, phobias, addictions (smoking, alcohol, substances, etc.), weight loss, sexual disorders, Corporate Hypnotherapy, and Sports Hypnotherapy. As for my second profession as a Freelance Writer, I specialize in ghostwriting, screenplay and descriptive writing. One of my greatest strengths as a writer is versatility. I am also a skilled researcher, with great communication skills and can write on varied topics while weaving original content.
