As a Group Leader, I led a group of 12–18 campers between the ages of 5 to 7, with the assistance of two high-school aged counselors. I was in charge of daily supervision, following schedules, supporting group dynamics, and making sure each camper felt safe, included, and cared for. Other responsibilities included were taking attendance, taking lunch orders, helping in changing tents, and much more. Throughout the summer, I acted as the main point of contact for the campers in my group, serving as a role model, trusted adult, and mentor.
