ABOUT NAMIK A.

I’m a Bosnian professional based in Italy with experience in procurement, supply management, and industrial operations.Currently I’m employed as a Buyer in the Electrical Systems and Components Purchasing Group of the Merchant Ships Division at Fincantieri S.p.A, where I manage the sourcing and purchasing Integrated Automation and Remote Contolled Valves Systems for cruise projects.Before joining Fincantieri, I worked for three years as Regional Procurement Responsible at Sisecam Italy, a global leader in the glass industry. In this role, I led a wide range of procurement activities including spare parts, maintenance, general services, packaging, investments and raw materials (limestone, dolomite, sodium sulphate, and glass cullet) contracts supporting both the Porto Nogaro and Manfredonia plants.I also acted as Procurement Key User during the S/4HANA transition project, coordinating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and ensure a smooth digital transformation.Driven by curiosity and a passion for electronics and production technologies, I continuously seek ways to integrate data-driven decision-making into procurement strategy and operations.
