The Managing Director of College Access is responsible for all things, but not limited to, Scholar engagement, college access, college counseling, family engagement, community engagement, Scholar recruitment and Scholar experience. Additionally, the Managing Director of College Access is responsible for ensuring that all high school Scholars engage in the college access process with workshops, counseling support, and other program supports/activities/events so that Scholars matriculate to the best match/fit/financial fit post-secondary institution. Also, the Managing Director of College Access is responsible for overseeing the Scholars’ experience from program recruitment to enrollment to college matriculation.The Managing Director of College Access is responsible for ensuring that the College Access Team works collaboratively with other teams/departments within Chicago Scholars. Lastly, the Managing Director of College Access is responsible for ensuring Scholars, CS College Counselors, their team (Team Launch/College Access Team), and other CS stakeholders are supported, coached, engaged, trained, and/or feel a since of belonging to the Chicago Scholars community, mission, vision, and core values (the CS Way).
