About Naman Vats
I am a Junior at Iowa State University, pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science. I am particularly interested in exploring opportuniteis in automation and the application of Industry 4.0 standards to drive process optimization. Currently, I work as a Part-Time Student Product Engineer on the Dynamic Systems Modeling team at John Deere. In this role, I have had the opportunity to explore the integration of software within the mechanical engineering field. My contributions include performing engineering verification and validation on simulated vehicle models, streamlining processes through workflow improvements and documentation, and supporting the implementation of a cloud based simulation workflows.
