   Cox Automotive provides a set of solutions for automotive dealers in the USA. Our project, DealerTrack, is the primary application used by dealers across various states for all aspects of vehicle management, from purchase to insurance, leasing, plates, and transfers. All of this can be managed from both the dealer\'s and partner\'s perspectives-I created a centralized architecture that supports 13 states (such as GA, NC, WI, and PA), which were previously separate repositories, by leveraging configurability.The app uses microfrontends, with different smaller parts deployed on separate ports. The complete app is generated by combining all these components-I used Zustand for state management, enabling efficient storage and manipulation of state. Zustand offers easy-to-use hooks and is highly performant-Instead of writing logic as a series of \"if-else\" statements, I made it configurable using JSON Logic JS. This approach converts conditions into rules, and the rule engine runs those rules with a set of data sources to produce results-I used XState to implement a state machine for transactions. Since all activities function like transactions, it is crucial to ensure they are fail-safe. To preserve the ACID properties of transactions and maintain code consistency—especially with growing requirements across different states.
