About Nalin Gupta

Hi, my name is Nalin Soon to be grad with a Bachelor\'s of Science in Informatics from University of Washington.(December 2021) Currently living in Seattle, WA with a passion for Software Engineering and Data Science. I completed my Software Engineering Internship at HiGeorge over summer 2021 where I was working as a backend developer contributing to Python Flask, PostgreSQL backend and maintaining data pipelines in Python and Apache Airflow. For my Capstone I worked with Smartsheet with a team of 3 people to devise and develop a solution using TypeScript and React that enables users to track their requests on the Admin Center Platform. I have also been a Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Databases course at UW CSE and a Research Assistant at Center for Education Data and Research. I am comfortable working with Java, Python, SQL, JavaScript. I am looking for full-time Software Engineering opportunities. I would like to work in an environment where I can learn and grow while contributing to a product which aims to simplify/ add functionality for the user. Backend development, RESTful API’s, Data Analysis and Database Management In my free time, you can find me hiking or playing board games like Catan
